Additional parts required are gaskets and a new block coolant crossover tube (the tube below the manifold in the valley). Also, 96-98 Mustangs have 2 coolant temperature sensors, 99-later only has 1, so you must tap the PI manifold for the second coolant temp sensor when performing a PI upgrade on 94-98 models.
Increasing compression on a naturally aspirated engine is not a problem, it is undesirable on a supercharged application however, to decrease compression using this upgrade it is recommended that the bottom end of the motor be modified as well for supercharged applications. |
