• The factory plastic self-adjusting quadrant is fine for stock clutches, but when you add a heavy duty clutch or some fast power-shifts, it starts to bend. This unwanted flex causes inconsistent clutch engagement and missed shifts at best, plus worn synchronizers and a broken quadrant at worst. Replace that weak plastic clutch quadrant with Steeda's super strong billet aluminum "Double Hook" quadrant. The strong flex free billet quadrant design stands up to the hardest shifts.

Can this item be used in an automatic car?

No. The double hook clutch quadrant is only compatible with manual transmissions.

What is the difference between the double Hook clutch quadrant and Quick release Clutch quadrant aside from the adjustable position the double hook clutch quadrant has?

The quick release clutch quadrant is designed in such a way that allows you to engage and disengage the clutch faster than the double hook clutch quadrant. The quick release quadrant is recommended for hardcore drag racers.

Not easy to install but it's a must if you replace your cable. Get the cable adjuster too.
