LPW's Dofferential Cover Girdle is now available for S197 Mustang's with the 8.8" rear end housing. This girdle strengthen's the housing and braces the differential main caps, reducing housing flex and eliminates damaging main cap deflection. LPW's girdle is the only offering that does not require relocation of the panhard bar, which introduces flex and makes the panhard bar less effective at laterally locating your rear end housing.

Not sure I really needed this but figured why not I was changing to 4:10's and had to remove the cover anyway...This cover has a seperate drain plug and fill plug which is nice and the drain plug is magnetic so if there is any metal it will pick it up...The cover also looks good
Can't be seen when installed, but it adds the convenience of changing your diff fluids, and adds strength to the assembly. Worth the price.
