· Wide range of adjustments

  • Correct Your Bumpsteer with this Bumpsteer Kit that features spherical rod-ends with tapered shafts for a hassle-free installation that requires no drilling of the spindle for fit. Recommended for all lowered Mustangs with X2 Balljoints, X5 Balljoints and/or Caster Camber Plates. Now available with a wider range of adjustment than other kits.

Definition of bumpsteer: Bump-steer is a change in toe* angle caused by the suspension moving up or down. Bump-steer is built into the geometry of the suspension and steering system, and has nothing to do with turning the steering wheel. The effect of bump-steer is for the wheel to toe-in or toe-out when the suspension moves up or down. This toe change or "steering" occurs any time the suspension moves, whether it is from body roll, brake-dive, or hitting a bump in the road. Bump steer is undesirable because the suspension is steering the car instead of the driver.

Works with:
87-93 GT, 87-93 LX

Frequently Asked Questions About
Steeda Bumpsteer Kit w Power Steering (Gold)

I read in some other steeda info that this bump steer kit would not work with stock parts. the rod is to long and hits the rotor. and do you need a bump steer kit if you run off set steering and A arm bushings ?
If you run the offset rack bushings you might not need a bumpsteer kit, Your goal here is to ensure the the tie rod ends are level when the car is sitting on the ground.

I bought this Bumpsteer Kit back in 2006. I've put approximately 30,000km on it and it still looks like new! Great quality piece!
