Custom Tuning and Dyno Services

We have the capabilities to hand-tune your vehicle. We are no ordinary tuner...if you want references, we can e-mail you customers that have traveled with their vehicles across the country to us to get it done right! We have fixed vehicles that other shops couldn't tune, and our focus is on safety and drivability. We have proprietary data logging equipment and we do our tuning with a lab quality wideband A/F on our MD 1750SE (Single Eddy Current) Dyno to ensure drivability and the safest, most reliable tune possible. Other shops simply use tailpipe sniffers, and low quality datalogging equipment. If you have a heavily modified car, there are usually big gains and drivability improvements by having your car tuned. For supercharged/turbocharged or nitrous vehicles, our tuning services are always the best way to go.

Steeda.ca has been at the forefront of providing stock-like driveability for high performance vehicles since 2003. Utilizing our in house Mustang Dyno 1750SE (Single Eddy Current), with load control, we have the ability to simulate real world conditions without ever leaving the shop. Loaded dyno's are 100% necessary for tuning, especially turbocharged vehicles.

Custom tuning is available for Mustangs, and other Ford vehicles equipped with SCT flash devices or chips.

Virtually anyone can increase the timing and lean out the Air/Fuel ratio to find a power gain. Keeping a combination within safe margins, with stock-like driveability and impressive power is what makes Steeda.ca

Advanced Data Logging Capabilities

While many chassis dyno facilities are limited to simply providing a basic rear wheel HP and Torque number, Steeda.ca has decided to take it to the next level with valuable data logging capabilities.

We've coupled our chassis dyno to various analog inputs:
* Lab Quality Wideband Air/Fuel Ratio Meter
* Boost
* Inlet Air Temperature
* Spark
* EGT
* OTC Lab Quality Scope for electrical diagnostics
* And Much More!

We also employ a state-of-the-art lab quality wide-band meter with hand built Air/Fuel sensors. It is extremely accurate and is installed in the exhaust as near to the manifold or headers as possible. Our wide-band Air/Fuel sensor has to be installed in an available, dedicated 02 bung in front of the catalytic converters. This extra 02 bung is welded in at our facility when we are performing tuning services to a vehicle. Sensors that are simply inserted in the tail pipe can be extremely inaccurate and DANGEROUS because a vehicle's catalytic converter alters the A/F ratio.

**We will bring our tuning expertise to your location. Call for appointment. We also offer remote web based tuning for customers not able to make it to our location*

A few quick things to check before bringing a vehicle in for tuning:
* If aftermarket forced induction or pullied stock blower, the plugs should be gapped at .028-.035.
* Copper plugs need to be changed every 5-10k miles. - Platinum every 15-30k miles.
* Plugs must be between 1-2 heat ranges colder than stock
* If aftermarket supercharged, the IAT sensor must be installed after the blower or after the intercooler if equipped
* The fuel filter should be changed every 10-20k miles
* Oxygen Sensors must be replaced every 40k-50k
* If nitrous injected, do you have a bottle heater and pressure guage? Do you have extra fuel jets? All are recomended.
* All vehicles must have a dedicated 02 bung before Catalytic Convertors to ensure accurate air fuel readings.
* Some vehicles may be required to have a dedicated 02 bung on each side
* Some vehicles may be required to have a EGT bung in the exhaust

**Please Note**
If you did not purchase your tuning hardware from Steeda.ca, there will be a surcharge of $50.00 additional to our standard tuning fee's
